It’s no surprise that Sunscreen not only protect us from the harmful UV rays of the sun & prevents skin cancer but it also prevents premature aging. It is also important to use when you’re using other acids like Vitamin C & Retinol that makes your skin more sensitive to the sun.
I am very picky with sunscreens because of my sensitive, acne-prone and oily skin. I tend to react fast especially when there is strong fragrance or it is not hypoallergenic/ comedogenic. Skin care is based on preference and obviously, everyone is different. I prefer Mineral based sunscreen than Chemical sunscreen & I prefer not having harmful ingredients on them because I wear them daily. Just make sure it’s oil free, non-comedogenic, Broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) & at least SPF 30.
If you are looking for sunscreens to try, these are easy to find, especially us Canadians– I know finding a good sunscreen locally can be challenging. Finding the right sunscreen provides trial and error since not everyone is the same however, these, I find are pretty good based on reviews, research, ingredients and some Ive tried.
